Adana Demirspor's club president Ertan Zeybek announced the club's current debt. The president of Adana Demirspor, which has been relegated from the Trendyol 1st League, Ertan Zeybek said that 'the current debt is around 25 million euros, and the interest is also working daily.' Zeybek, who is also the president of the Şimşekler Group Fan Association, evaluated the club's financial situation and goals. Zeybek pointed to the process initiated for the transfer of the club's shares, saying 'The shares of Adana Demirspor Sportif Yatırım AŞ and Adana Demirspor Futbol AŞ were in Ali Sancak's hands. We completed the share transfers in a 3-4 month period and had them registered. Now, Adana Demirspor Sportif Yatırım AŞ, Adana Demirspor Futbol AŞ, and Adana Demirspor Football Club Association have been transferred to the hands of the fans.' Zeybek emphasized that they have taken on a great financial responsibility, saying 'Our goal is for Adana Demirspor to survive, to survive together, to follow the same path, because if the club closes and goes away, it will not make any of us happy. We put our hands, even our bodies, under the stone. We will explain this to the city, and with the help of the people and the community, we will rebuild the team. After the league is over, we will hold a general assembly in May and open the way for the new management.' Ertan Zeybek stated that the 'Long Live Demirspor' campaign, which was launched by the fan group Şimşekler on July 8, 2025, to pay off the team's debts, will be extended for another year, and they will support the campaign. Zeybek emphasized that the money collected in the campaign can only be used for the club's debts under the supervision of the governorship, saying 'It is not possible to use it outside of debt anyway. That's why it's a very transparent, clear, and trustworthy campaign that everyone can support with peace of mind.' Zeybek stated that they are working to determine the club's net debt, saying 'The debt is currently around 25 million euros. The interest is also working daily. For example, if we think that Adana Demirspor has 10 million euros in its cash box, I believe that 90% of the debt will be eliminated because these are debts that can be closed with negotiation and bilateral dialogue. By sitting down with the creditors and negotiating, saying 'The power of the fans is this much, the money we have collected is this much', we can minimize these debts.' Zeybek stated that their goal is to open the way for the management of the club, and Adana Demirspor, which is last in the Trendyol 1st League with -40 points, has been mathematically relegated. The club will continue to work to pay off its debts. The club's debts will be tried to be paid off with the support of the fans.
